Kevin Kennedy

Kevin Kennedy has been a cornerstone of EEA Companies since its earliest days, joining the team 35 years ago to help develop three cogeneration facilities in New Jersey. As Chief Operating Officer of EEA Companies and CEO of MuniBilling, Kevin has played an instrumental role in shaping the success and growth of our organization. His superior analytical skills, excellent judgment, and steady leadership have been pivotal in building a diverse portfolio of companies spanning real estate, hospitality, and venture capital.

A graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in electrical engineering, Kevin began his career at Air Products, where he honed his expertise in the energy industry. His decision to join EEA in its infancy marked the beginning of a remarkable journey, during which he has contributed to everything from industrial plant siting and real estate acquisition to venture capital investment and management.

Kevin’s approach is defined by his commitment to learning from new industries and embracing challenges as opportunities for growth. Beyond his professional achievements, Kevin’s story is one of loyalty and character. A native of Reading, Pennsylvania, he chose to study locally at Lehigh to remain close to his high school sweetheart, Sally, with whom he has raised four wonderful children.
